The Royal Parks
6.5m Merchandise Trailer The Royal Parks asked Masters Exhibitions to design an exhibition trailer which would be used as a mobile shop. We worked alongside Easy Tiger Creative. It needed to have all the features expected of a normal static shop and the interior had to be bright, colourful and professional. It started life as a 'Mungo' base trailer and we built on to it, creating a unique merchandise trailer. We created plenty of space for stock, a large area for displays and provided serving counters. The entrance area was covered to create a sheltered space for freestanding display items. Real wood from sustainable sources was used where possible and the trailer was finished with a premium feel. The Royal Parks merchandise trailer made its debut in Hyde Park, hosting official merchandise of Winter Wonderland and the Royal Parks. This "shop on wheels" unit is designed to be moved between the Parks to provide shop space and information points for events and special occasions. |
This spectacular unit boasts a rear slide-out pod, with level interior floor that slides out from the main body. The front entrance area consists of a large front veranda, made to fold down. This area features a fold-up canopy covering the large floorspace. Access into the trailer is possible either via the aluminium, front steps or the side DDA ramp, fitted with sturdy handrails.
The front veranda area features slot-together Oak handrails and support posts. It is fitted with quick release sockets, hidden inside to create a sleek, seamless entrance. This fits perfectly with the customers brand and premium products. The shop entrance consists of commercial doors with top hung mechanism with no threshold, creating a large, obstruction free entrance. The use of real glass makes the entrance feel high-end and permanent. |
