Chelsea Flower Show 2011
After the success in 2009 with the 'Perfume Garden', Masters were asked to be involved with the detail design and manufacture of a few key items at this years Chelsea Flower show. This B&Q Garden won gold at the Chelsea Flower Show 2011 and was the vision of Laurie Chetwood and Patrick Collins. It was the tallest-ever garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and was designed to encourage people to develop sustainable food growing spaces and enhance urban greening, regardless of the plot size. Water tower The 5m tall water tower was designed and created by Masters. We took on the challenge of designing an elegant feature capable of holding 3,000 litres of water that could sit beside the vertical greenhouse. Insect Hotel Masters also manufactured the boxes for the 'Insect Hotel'. All the components for the boxes were CNC routed and carefully put together by hand. These were then delivered to local schools where the real creativity started. |
Fish table
Working closely with Willerby landscapes, Masters took the concept of a fish table and made it a reality. The stunning feature table is 6m long, 2m wide and made entirely of perspex and glass. Due to the clever design, no adhesives or fixings were required in the assembly, giving it a beautiful, seamless appearance.
